PPG, on behalh, of its subsidiary INDUSTRIA CHIMICA REGGIANA (ICR) is looking for an AREA MANAGER Center/North Italy. The person can be based primarly in one of the following areas: Turin, Milan, Bologna

As an Area Manager you will develop and increase gross sales of ICR Automotive Refinish business in the Center and North of Italy. If you can provide outstanding customer service experience, this job may be for you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve annual sales targets for the Collision business
  • Identify new business opportunities and win new direct & indirect customers.
  • Work with Sales Manager, Commercial Promoters and sales agents to ensure their sales objectives alignment, identify potential customers /users, action plans, develop projects and monitor progress in the area.
  • Work with marketing and technical teams to identify future Collision product and service needs. Support and push their development within ICR and contribute to the creation of effective new product launch plans. Champion delivery of any local technical testing & support needs.


  • Minimum 5 years sales and sales management experience, ideally in the Automotive Refinish market
  • Proven experience in negotiating and meeting client’s requirements
  • Robust technical background on products/process.
  • Key Account and distributors Management sales experience
  • Previous coatings experience is highly preferred
  • Proficient English
  • Proficient MS Office knowledge
  • Flexibility to travel within assigned territory
  • Outstanding analytical and organizational skills, strong communication skills, and with the ability to lead and mentor team members
